Strangers Coffee Delivery and Returns

We hope you love shopping with Strangers Coffee. Here are our delivery and returns policies to help make sure we meet your expectations.


Delivery Information

We use Royal Mail 48h Tracked± as standard
This is not a guaranteed 48 hour delivery service and may take longer to arrive.

Shipping Charges

* Orders under 499g: £3 delivery charge

* Orders over 499g: £3.50 delivery charge

* Orders over £35: Free shipping, either Royal Mail 48h Tracked or Parcel Force 24h Tracked and Signed, depending on weight.

Shipping Details

* Orders under 2kg are shipped via Royal Mail.

* For faster delivery, select Royal Mail Tracked 24± during checkout at an additional cost of £4.50 per parcel. This is not a guaranteed 24 hour delivery service and may take longer to arrive.

±Royal Mail aims to deliver Tracked 24 the next working day and Tracked 48 within two to three working days. However, these time frames are estimates and not guaranteed. During peak times, these services may be slower.

Lost or Missing Parcels:

* Royal Mail will not consider an item lost or missing for 15 working days. Please contact us if you have not received your order within 10 working days after receiving your tracking email.

Shipping and Delivery Charges

* Shipping charges are based on weight and are added automatically at checkout. The final price will be in pounds sterling.

Delivery Schedule

* Deliveries under 4kg are made Monday to Saturday, excluding bank holidays.

* Orders placed before 06.00 am GMT are estimated to be shipped the same day.

* Orders placed after 06.00 am GMT may be shipped the following day, or the following Monday if placed on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

* Orders placed on bank holidays will be shipped the next working day.

Note: Strangers Coffee Company cannot be held responsible for operational delays.

We roast a minimum of three times a week, and all coffee orders will be fulfilled with the latest batch of coffee.

International Shipping

* We only ship to addresses in the United Kingdom unless special arrangements are made for international shipping. Free postage over £35 does not apply to international orders.

Exchanges and refunds
If when you receive your product(s), you are not completely satisfied you may return the items to us, within seven days for exchange or refund. Items must be in original un-opened packaging, in all original boxes, packaging materials, manuals blank warranty cards and all accessories and documents provided by the manufacturer. Items must be delivered back to Strangers Coffee Company, 10 Dove Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 1DE. 

We recommend all parcels being sent back to us are fully insured with proof of delivery. Strangers Coffee Company will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. 
All shipping back to Strangers Coffee Company is paid for by the customers. We are unable to refund the customer any shipping costs.

Address Errors

* If the wrong address is entered at checkout, re-delivery fees will be the customer's responsibility providing the order has already been fulfilled. The re-delivery fee will be at our standard shipping rate and the free shipping on orders of over £35 offer we apply will no longer be applicable.
* If the order has not been fulfilled , please contact us as soon as possible with the correct address to be updated. If the order hasn’t been shipped, a re-delivery fee won’t be applied.

Non-Defective Returns

Any products returned found not to be defective and tampered with by the customer will not be replaced and returned at the cost of the customer. 

Hygiene Policy

For reasons of hygiene, refunds and exchanges are not available for used products. This doesn't apply to faulty goods, any faulty products will be exchanged.

Order Inspection

We try to ensure your order is fulfilled correctly and in pristine condition, please check your products on delivery. If you are not happy with the products in their condition please get in contact so we can exchange or refund the item(s).
